Day 68: Snack Time

I have always loved snack time but it's never been as much fun as it is now.  The babies are learning to feed themselves and it is the funnest thing to watch them learn...food is everywhere and pretty much a bath is needed when all is said and done but we have a blast.

Today I'm grateful we have a dog because she makes snack time clean up a little easier.

"I think I'll try your foot for snack!" "Okay, I try it all the time."

Day 67: You!

I have had so much fun doing this blog! I'm so grateful for the people that follow and read even though I’m not the most consistent. It’s been such a great way for me to keep my eyes fixed on the blessings of the Lord. Today I want to get to know you better and celebrate all that you have to be grateful for. So today I want you to share what you’re grateful for so we can all encourage one another.   There really are so many things to be grateful for!

Today I'm grateful for you!

My heart is so thankful for these three!

7 Month Photo Shoot

My sweet babies are getting so big!

Day 67: Discipline

For the last 7 months I feel like life has been put on hold and all we have down shifted into survival mode. You want life to come to a screaming halt...have twins! Every routine we ever had, every goal we ever made, every to do list ever written all went in the garbage and it was survival of the fittest! We didn't know how to do anything so we made it up as we went along and now here we are 7 months later feeling as though our lives are a little undisciplined and we haven't gotten much done. We've realized when you don't have disciplines in your life, you lack vision and when you lack vision, you begin to lack purpose. Without disciplines your relationships suffer, with God and with people, your waist line suffers, really I think your future suffers because you find yourself not going anywhere because your not disciplined enough to get there.

My husband and I have decided we've had enough of not going anywhere so we set up some disciplines. I have to tell you it feels so good! It feels good to have goals, it feels good to work towards something, it feels good to be going somewhere, it feels good to be intentional and it feels good to be disciplined.

I'm grateful today the Lord has given us the spirit of self control which allows me to be more disciplined.

Chase is getting ready to go on a walk.  Feet kicked up and he is ready to enjoy the ride!

Day 66: Fun, Friends, Fireworks and Freedom

I remember as a child running around bare foot with my swimsuit on waving sparklers in the air and singing at the top of my lungs "Proud to be an American" on the 4th of July. I love the 4th of July, the barbeque, the good friends, the fireworks and of course the overwhelming thankfulness that floods over me because we are free.

Today (a little late but who's counting) I'm grateful for Fun time, Good friends, Fireworks and Freedom!

Need Some VOTES!

I'm trying my hardest to come up with a logo for my photography buisness so I thought I would come to you for some help.  For some reason I can't settle in on one.  Pick one or pick none but please comment and let me know what you think.  I need to move on to the next thing to get this buisness up and running.

Thanks!

I can't wait to hear what you think!

Day 65: Sweet Morning Babies

For most of the last 7 months of my life I have had the pleasure of being abruptly woken up by a screaming baby, but I’m glad to announce life is changing. The babies have started waking up with a great disposition. I now stir awake to the sounds of my little ones cooing and giggling. I walk quickly to their room because I can't wait to see them! I'm greeted with warm sleepy eye smile faces and it's all I can do to not smother them in kisses.

They are such a gift to wake up to in the morning. I'm reminded again that "The Lord's mercies are new every morning." It doesn't matter what happened yesterday or how frustrated you got, or how much you could have done better because today is a new day to start again. I'm glad I get to start again every morning with my sweet morning babies.

I'm grateful today I start everyday with 2 smiles and new mercies to keep me going.
